Hey Rudolph,

Some of the issues you mentioned we have already addressed in an internal build. Also, Microsoft should be releasing the RC of Office 2010 as well, so likely you will see some new issues. Thanks for taking the time to comment.

OKie confirmed it doesnt work even now in PP 2010. I noticed everything seems just fine until right at the end in PP2k7 you get a status window that shows the message "Updating the presentation" - that window never shows up in PP2k10. Up and till that point the interface seems to be doing the same things for the same amount of time.

Also FWIW I also have to add the same config for Presenter.exe too btw.

requiredRuntime version="v2.0.50727"
supportedRuntime version="v2.0.50727"

I installed PowerPoint 2007 on the same machine - first thing that happened is that the Artiulate ribbon shows up, addins enabled and everything but clicking on any of the buttons on that ribbon does nothing. So I uninstalled PowerPoint 2007 and Articulate then installed PowerPoint 2007 back and then Articulate now the buttons work. I import the audio fine but when I click on audio editor it goes upto the point of generating thumbnails and then fails with the error "Unable to find a version of the runtime to run this application". This is popping up as audioedit.exe - .NET Framework Initialization Error. Since I am on Win7 I tried running as admin but that doesnt make a difference. So I added an AudioEdit.exe.config under Program Files with this content:

Now it launches and long story short seems to be saving from PowerPoint 2007. I havent tried again from PowerPoint 2010 - dont want to jinx it :)

Hey Rudolph,

I haven't seen that happen with my installation of PowerPoint 2010. Do you also have PowerPoint 2007 on that machine? I have both running...but am curious to know if you see the same thing on that machine with PowerPoint 2007 as well.

I have an issue where i import audio for the entire slide deck but then when I go into the audio editor - it doesnt show me the audio at all. Hitting play just gives me silence. Same behavior if I try to import from the editor itself, everything seems ok - i can set slide markers etc but as soon as I save and exit come back everythings gone. I am on PP 2010 on Win7 with Articulate Studio 09 trial

Hey Jill,

Yeah, the Save and Return issue in both Quizmaker and Engage are the result of a bug (technically known issue) with PowerPoint 2010 beta. It will be fixed in the release version of Office 2010.

You can still publish from Quizmaker and Engage to PowerPoint 2010, but the Save and Return will be an issue till the bug is fixed.

Hi, Dave. I've got Office 2010 installed, along with Articulate Studio 09 (v6.2.907.1413 pro). I get an "unhandled exception" error when using Engage. "hwnd must be assigned." I can open and create an Engage interaction, but I get the error when clicking Save and Return to Presenter. I get the same thing when trying to save and return in Quizmaker. It is also terribly slow to open both Engage and Quizmaker.

Thanks Philip,

I hadn't seen that yet. We only did a quick pass on testing PowerPoint 2010's beta so far, but once the RC is released we will do a more thorough pass, and be ready for the 2010 full release.

If you run into other issues please let me know.
