HOWEVER, all I had to do was publish to web instead of LMS. I cannot explain it, but now the exit functionality works as it is supposed to. Sigh.

I know some browsers prohibit the button from working…

Hi Dave,

Great blog. I’m looking for a solution to my PPT 2010 problem (I think). After publishing the WBT in Presenter, the Exit button does not work. You click Exit in the upper right corner, then the Exit now button and nothing happens.

Any help you can give me? Is this a known bug?

Hi Jorge,

I definitely wouldn’t recommend working with the Office 2010 beta, it is fairly buggy.

The issue that you are running into…what is the full path to the PPTX file? If it is excessively long that could be causing the issue.

Hi, I am new to Articulate (and very excited about becoming a fan and “articulator”), in fact I am in the 30-day-trial of the Studio09; and since I was NOT an MS-PowerPoint user, I needed to get an MS-Office version to run the Studio 09-tryal so I got the 2010 Beta. And I’m getting into some trouble like: getting this messages: “.. your project need to be upgraded to the Presenter 09 file format..” then a following message “This project must to be moved before it can be upgraded.” every time I try anything that has to go into the Presenter from within Power Point, so I got stucked in the “jailed-can-not-get-out zone”. Any help with this? or do I need to get me a 2007 version to run the Studio09 smoothly?

As an FYI this addresses issues with the release version of 2010, but there may still be issues with the beta releases of PowerPoint 2010.

We were hoping for this week on the release but ran across one additional bug in PowerPoint 2010 that we are trying to get some clarity from Microsoft on. Fingers crossed that it will be Monday.

Yep, we fully anticipate being 100% compatible. We won’t be adding new features at this point, but it will work with 2010 just as it would with 2007.

When is the anticipated ETA for final Microsoft 2010? I need to buy a PC today and Articulate next week. Do you expect Articulate to be 100% compatible with M’10 on formal release?

That should also be fixed in the release version of Office 2010 and Articulate ’09 Update 6.
