Hey Stuart,

What happens if you import the MP3 directly? Does that work?

If it is a music MP3 I know some MP3s are copy protected, so they don't allow you to do conversions on them.

The audio is of some music and i have tried converting it to a wav first with no luck, i have done almost everything i know about with adui files to get it to work with no joy what so ever.

Unfortunately I record directly to MP3 with the Edirol R-09 recorder that I use.

I could record in wav format but with a 2gb flash card it only gives me 2 hours of wav recording.

Most of the speakers that I need to record have presentations of 3 - 6 hours. This necessitates the user of MP3 recording.

This post helps me to understand why the audio quality output seems poorer than my input.
