What are the recommendations for window size / resolution for capturing a project in Captivate, which will later on be imported into Articulate?
I tried the 720*540 and wasn’t happy with the result…

Not sure on capturing a project in Captivate. I haven’t used it in so long I can’t give you a good recommendation. You might want to create a support case with our support department and see if they can help you out.
