Free stock photos

by admin on September 11, 2007

If you ever need to spice up your presentations with photos, but are lacking good stock photography, and don’t want to pay an arm and a leg for photos, check out stock.xchng.

Stock.xchng is a site that distributes FREE stock photography. This is a pretty good resource for anyone looking for stock photos for presentations or web design.

Check it out at:
http://www.sxc.hu/

Most of the photos do have some limitations on what they can be used for, but most of the limitations are pretty minor (like notifying the creator if used publicly).

Hi, Dave.
Trying to find the most efficient way to share work-in-progress with SME’s and others who may not have PPT or Articulate. I want to avoid emailing the zipped files and asking them to locate player.html to launch it. I’ve tried saving for CD, which creates an EXE file, but it doesn’t package up all necessary files for it to run properly. I think my last (and best) option is to create a private folder and web page on my web site, publish all files there, then add a link that the user can click to launch the Articulate piece. This is not a viable option for folks who don’t have a web site available to them, so what other suggestions do you have? Thanks for the help. –Jill @ Digital Harbor

Hey Jill,

If you publish from Articulate Presenter (Publish>CD) for CD it should package all the files you need. What files are missing?
